I just had the opportunity to read your story about cutting your son’s hair and then went to your blog. I haven’t had a chance to read all of it (yet!) but I was so touched by your story that I had to comment. Thank you so much for your voice - it feels so good to hear someone who understands. I have a child on the spectrum who is also 4 years old and I am a psychologist. Although I am lucky my profession has educated me about ASD, I have learned so MUCH more as a parent and I struggle daily with what is best for my son. Thank you for making me feel less alone. Although I am lucky enough to have understanding friends and family, to truly understand is to live it, 24-hours-a-day and comprehend the anxiety, fear, and uncertainty about the future that is a daily struggle. I look forward to reading more of your blog and appreciate your ability to write and express what I and others like us feel every day. Thank you!!!!
