Thank you for sharing that wonderful quote!
I always feel I have too much going on never anything missing apart from friendships. Because too much, too open, too real, too honest, too passionate about my interests is not what many people can cope with.
Love and hugs. Lisa. xx :)

You know, I’ve felt the same way about sharing my interests as well. I am very Aspergery in my hobbies and “fixations”. I have bounced from one thing to another. And, you Hippy, have just given me an idea for a post. Must run to the post page to leave myself a draft…

        Oooo…goody! That’s 2 posts I have inspired. I can’t wait to read them.
Let me know when you let them out, I don’t want to miss them and what you share.
        You know…
When I share about things I love, it makes me feel alive inside and I don’t notice that I’m boring people. Then when they avoid me, ignore me, I realise,
“Oh yep…I talked about (Insert special interest at that time)”
        But you know what….
There is nothing more boring to me than chit-chat without a purpose.
I have learned to fake it out of politeness.
Bless you for what you share here, Love and hugs. :)

My wife just found your blog and we both think it’s great. I’m looking forward to having a good look through your posts and will follow, both as a parent of a four year old autistic child and a fellow blogger.
I’d like to add you to my blogroll if that’s okay. If you have the time, I think you’ll see many parallels in what I’ve written on my blog.
Your strength and resolve are inspiring and humbling. I admire what you’re doing and look forward to seeing what comes next. Thanks.

Thanks so much, B’s Dad! I also added your blog to my blogroll. I really do look forward to spending some time checking it out. Just from clicking on “What B is Like”, I can tell we have some things in common – though our son is a bit younger. I do believe that I am going to share a little bit about my son on my blog as well. I might include it as an “About Our Family” page or something. Thanks for the inspiration. :)
